1. Overview
A Data Processing Agreement (DPA) is a legally binding contract between a data controller (you) and a data processor (Raqi.io / Ruwwad LLC) that governs how personal data is processed on behalf of the controller. DPAs are required under regulations such as the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA).
Ruwwad LLC is committed to data protection and offers a DPA to customers who require one for compliance purposes.
2. Scope & Application
Our DPA covers the following aspects of data processing:
- Subject matter:the processing of personal data by Raqi.io on behalf of the User as part of the Service.
- Duration:the DPA applies for the duration of the User's subscription and for any period thereafter during which Raqi.io retains personal data.
- Nature and purpose:providing omnichannel messaging, AI agent services, workflow automation, contact management, and analytics.
- Categories of data subjects:the User's customers, leads, contacts, and team members.
- Types of personal data:names, email addresses, phone numbers, messaging content, profile information, and metadata.
- Security measures:technical and organizational measures implemented to protect personal data (detailed on our Security page).
- Sub-processing:conditions under which Raqi.io may engage subprocessors (listed on our Subprocessors page).
- Data subject rights:procedures for assisting the User in fulfilling data subject access requests.
- Data deletion:procedures for returning or deleting personal data upon termination of the agreement.
3. Requesting a DPA
If you require a signed Data Processing Agreement for your records, please contact us at info@raqi.io.
Please include your company name, workspace name on Raqi.io, and the name and title of your authorized signatory. We will provide our standard DPA for review and counter-signature.
4. Subprocessors
Raqi.io uses a limited number of third-party subprocessors to deliver the Service. You can view the full, up-to-date list of our subprocessors on our dedicated Subprocessors page.
We will notify customers of any changes to our subprocessor list. If you have concerns about a new subprocessor, you may contact us to discuss alternatives.
