What is an AI conversation?

Conversations are unlimited on every plan, and you never pay per conversation. An AI conversation is what your AI agent answers: up to 10 AI replies to one customer within the month. A longer chat uses another one every 10 AI replies. Your team's replies and basic Auto-DMs never use them.

What are AI credits?

Accepted Answer

AI credits power Ads Studio: AI ad copy, image creation, video generation and audio (voiceovers, sound effects and music). Different actions cost different amounts. For example, ad copy costs 1 credit, an image costs 3 credits on Nano Banana Pro, and the cheapest 5-second video costs 4 credits. A voiceover costs about 2 credits per 1,000 characters, and a minute of music costs 4 credits. Higher resolutions and premium models cost more. AI credits can also keep your AI agents replying after the plan's AI conversations run out, at 3 AI conversations per credit. Your monthly allowance resets each cycle, and purchased top-up packs roll over.

What happens when my AI conversations run out?

No surprise charges. New chats go to your team, who can keep replying as much as they need, and the AI starts again when the month resets. Owners and admins can also turn on Keep AI running in Billing: the AI keeps replying and each AI credit pays for 3 more AI conversations, up to a monthly AI credit limit you set (100 by default). Nothing is billed at the end of the month.

Can I buy more AI credits?

Yes. You can top up AI credits anytime with prepaid packs of 100, 250, 500, 750, 1,000 or 2,500 credits, on any plan, Free included. On Free a pack costs $8 to $200. From Starter up, every paid plan pays $7 to $175 for the same packs, which saves 10 to 13% on each one. Purchased credits never expire. You can also choose a higher monthly credit tier on each plan with the slider.

How much do AI Agents cost?

AI Agents come with every paid plan at no extra charge, and each plan includes a monthly number of AI conversations (the AI conversations row of the comparison table above has the exact numbers). One AI conversation is up to 10 AI replies to one customer. When they run out, new chats go to your team, or AI credits keep the AI replying if you turn that on. Your team's replies are always unlimited, and the number resets at the start of each billing month.

What are AI steps and how are they counted?

AI steps are AI actions outside inbox conversations, like comment intent detection, AI workflow steps and AI logic in automations. Each paid plan includes a monthly number (500 on Starter, 2,000 on Growth, 10,000 on Scale and 13,400 to 20,000 on Business), shared across workflows, apps and automations. AI steps also pause once the plan's AI for the month is used up. Non-AI workflow steps (send message, add tag, wait, condition, webhook) are unlimited. You'll see a warning as you get close.

Is there a free plan?

Yes, and it does not expire. The free plan includes unlimited conversations, unlimited basic Auto-DMs on Instagram and Messenger and 2 connected channels (any 2 of Instagram, Messenger or Telegram), with no credit card required. You can also use the Ads Studio pay as you go: buy an AI credit pack when you need one, and your latest 10 results stay in your history. Paid plans add AI agents, AI conversations, workflows, monthly AI credits and higher limits.

Can I upgrade or cancel at any time?

Yes. You can upgrade instantly from the Billing section of your dashboard. To cancel, simply click Cancel Subscription. You'll retain access to all features until the end of your current billing cycle.
