What counts as a conversation?

A conversation counts when a customer sends or replies with a message during the billing month. One-way auto-DMs you send do not count until the customer replies. Each customer counts once per month, no matter how many messages they send. You only pay for customers who actually talk back.

What are AI credits?

AI credits power Ads Studio: AI ad copy, image creation, and video generation. Different actions cost different amounts. For example, ad copy costs 1 credit, a standard image 1 to 3 credits, and a 5-second video 13 credits (higher-resolution GPT renders cost more). Your monthly allowance resets each cycle, and purchased top-up packs roll over.

What happens if I exceed my conversation limit?

No surprise charges. There is no pay-as-you-go billing for conversations. When you reach your monthly limit, messages keep flowing into your inbox and nothing is held back. You'll see a limit notice in your inbox, and upgrading gives you room for new contacts: an audience you can reach later with broadcast campaigns. You can upgrade anytime.

Can I buy more AI credits?

Yes. You can top up Ads Studio credits anytime with prepaid packs (100, 500, 1,000, or 2,500 credits). Purchased credits roll over and never expire. You can also choose a higher monthly credit tier on each plan with the slider.

How much do AI Agents cost?

AI Agent usage for conversations is included in your plan's conversation limit. AI Agents don't consume AI credits. Those are reserved for Ads Studio. We have a fair usage policy with generous limits that 99% of users will never reach.

What are AI steps and how are they counted?

Accepted Answer

AI steps are LLM-powered actions used outside of inbox conversations, like comment intent detection, AI-powered workflow nodes, and AI logic in automations. Each paid plan includes a monthly allowance (500 / 2,000 / 10,000 / 20,000 across Starter, Growth, Scale, Business). The cap is shared across all three surfaces: workflows, apps, and automations. Non-AI workflow steps (send message, add tag, wait, condition, webhook) are unlimited. You'll see a warning when approaching your cap.

Can I upgrade or cancel at any time?

Yes. You can upgrade instantly from the Billing section of your dashboard. To cancel, simply click Cancel Subscription. You'll retain access to all features until the end of your current billing cycle.
