Automations Overview

Plug-and-play apps for the four main channels — Instagram, WhatsApp, Messenger, Telegram.

Automations live in the Apps section of your dashboard. Each app is a focused, ready-made automation for a specific channel — no workflow building required. Pick one, plug in your message, and turn it on.

    The four main apps

Today you can run automations on:

    • Instagram Automations — Auto-DM anyone who comments on your post with a personalized reply + optional CTA button.
    • Messenger Automations — Auto-DM Messenger contacts who reply to a post or message you.
    • WhatsApp Automations — Send template messages with CTA buttons to your contact list (broadcasts + 1:1 triggers).
    • Telegram Automations — Broadcast promotions, announcements, and offers to your Telegram contacts.

    Automations vs. Workflows

Two different tools, two different jobs:

Tip: Start with an automation. Graduate to a workflow when you need to chain steps, branch on conditions, or pull data from external tools.

    • Automations (Apps) — Pre-built, single-channel, one specific trigger → one specific action. Set up in under a minute.
    • Workflows — The visual builder. Multi-step, multi-channel, conditional logic, custom integrations. For anything more complex than a single trigger-action pair.

    How a comment-to-DM automation works

    The most common automation pattern:

    • Pick the Instagram post (or "all posts") you want to monitor.
    • Optionally filter by keyword (only DM commenters who say "PRICE", for example).
    • Write the DM that should fire — plain text, or with a CTA button linking to your shop, calendar, or form.
    • Turn it on. Raqi listens for matching comments and sends the DM within seconds.

Important: Documentation for each individual automation is still being expanded. Until then, the in-app builder walks you through every step with previews of what the customer will see.
